Recently, after intense debate, the Louisiana legislature stripped a clause that would make obtaining abortion not only illegal but murder. This latest attempt to criminalize healthcare is just one example of how far conservative lawmakers will go to ban abortions in their states. This sign was discarded along the off ramp of the Brooklyn Bridge on the Manhattan side. The bars are reminiscent of a jail cell.
